Healthway Medical Center Guangzhou Opens

The first Healthway Medical Center in Guangzhou had its soft opening this month. Located at the new Zhujiang area near the major international hotels and right across the new Guangzhou Children’s Hospital, the new clinic occupies over 1,000 sqm. on the second floor, with access from the streetfront entrance. Complete with imaging equipment and laboratory facilities, the new Healthway Guangzhou is aiming for multi-specialty medical services and health screening services. It is targeted at Hong Kong doctors who want a convenient practice platform in Guangzhou.
Already our subsidiary company Health & Care Dental (Novodontics) has opened a dental practice there. This will be followed by Ammed Cancer Center and Qualigenics Diabetes Center and Cardiomed Heart Center which will also operate satellite clinics there. The Healthway Guangzhou will be linked by internet to its affiliates in Hong Kong both for sharing medical records and for joint video consultations.

Healthway Medical Center Puxi Opens

The second Healthway Medical Center in Shanghai had its soft opening last week. Located at Xizhang Road South at Huangpu, the center occupies over 1,400 sqm. It has a complete health checkup facility, a medical consultation clinic, and a dental clinic. The group’s central laboratory service has also been relocated there. New features include a digital x-ray and a digital mammography facility.
Ruijin-AmMed Cancer Center Inaugurated

The Ruijin-AmMed Cancer Center in Shanghai was formally inaugurated last November 26, 2007. The facility includes a 20-bed inpatient center, a chemotherapy infusion center, an IGRT radiotherapy center, and a cancer patient-support institute. A supporting PET-CT facility is also available within the hospital in another building. Located at the Ruijin Hospital Outpatient Building, the center occupies two floors. It is a joint venture between Ammed International Limited and the Ruijin Hospital.

Novodontics Implant Centre opens at Cosco Tower

The Novodontics Dental Implant Centre relocated last Monday from Crocodile House to the 38/F of COSCO Tower in Sheung Wan. The new centre has 17 dental chairs including 2 surgery rooms. Also the latest Dental CT has been installed to facilitate implants.
